"The Metallica Blacklist" jest już dostępna w wersji fizycznej
Metallica świętuje 30-lecie kultowego czarnego albumu specjalną reedycją oraz albumem "The Metallica Blacklist", na którym znajdzie się aż 53 covery utworów z "Black Albumu" w zaskakujących wydaniach.
Fizyczna wersja "The Metallica Blacklist" trafiła do sprzedaży 1 października. 100% zysków ze sprzedaży trafi do 52 organizacji charytatywnych. Plyta to znacznie więcej niż tribute album. To celebracja niesłabnącego wpływu albumu "Metallica" na kolejne generacje artystów. To także jeden z najbardziej ambitnych projektów przygotowanych przez team zespołu. Do „Blacklist” zaproszono 53 artystów reprezentujących niesamowicie różnorodny zakres gatunków, pokoleń, kultur, kontynentów i nie tylko. Każdy z nich zaprezentował własną i wyjątkową wizję ulubionego utworu z czarnego albumu.

"The Metallica Blacklist" to przypomnienie, dlaczego album sprawił, że Metallica trafiła do głównego nurtu oraz nowy wgląd w uniwersalne i ponadczasowe kompozycje. Na kompilację trafili artyści wykonujący country, elektronikę, hip-hop, punk, indie, rocka, metal, pop… Każdy z artystów nie tylko użyczył swojej kreatywności, ale także wybrał organizację charytatywną, której konto zasili część wpływów ze sprzedaży płyty – podzielone na równo z fundacją Metalliki All Within My Hands.
Album to hołd pozbawiony limitów.
